Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Attention8: the website at attention8.com, the dashboard at dashboard.attention8.com and the competitions hub at play.attention8.com. By creating an account or buying a subscription, you agree to them on behalf of yourself and the business you use Attention8 for.
The short version.
- Paid plans renew every month until you cancel. Cancel any time from the Billing page.
- When you cancel, your plan keeps running until the end of the month you have paid for. There are no further charges.
- Your post allowance is a running total for your workspace. It does not reset each month.
- We do not refund payments already made, except where the law requires it or we have made a billing mistake.
1. Who we are
Attention8 is operated by Pixel Bright Media Limited, a company registered in Gibraltar ("we", "us"). You can reach us at support@attention8.com.
2. Who can use Attention8
Attention8 is a tool for businesses: brands, agencies and the creators who work with them. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract. If you sign up for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for what happens in your workspace, including anything done by teammates you invite. Workspace admins decide who has access and are the only people who can buy, change or cancel a plan.

How the allowance works:
- Each post added to tracking counts once. Refreshing its metrics does not count again.
- The allowance is a lifetime total for your workspace, not a monthly quota. Renewing your subscription does not reset it.
- Deleting, unlinking or archiving a post, account or campaign does not give a slot back.
- Upgrading raises your total. For example, moving from Starter to Team raises your total from 900 to 2,000 posts. It does not add a new package of 2,000 on top.
- When you reach your allowance, we stop adding new posts. Posts you already track keep refreshing and nothing is deleted.
4. Payment
- Prices are in US dollars. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, starting on the day you subscribe.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method every month until you cancel.
- Prices do not include any taxes, duties or bank charges that apply to you. Where we must charge tax, we add it to the invoice.
- Upgrading from Starter to Team takes effect as soon as the prorated difference for the rest of the current month is paid.
- To move to a smaller plan, contact us. We cannot move you to a plan smaller than the posts you have already used.
- If a payment fails, we pause adding new posts until it succeeds. Your data and your used allowance stay as they are.
5. Cancellation and refunds
A workspace admin can cancel at any time from the Billing page in the dashboard. Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again. After that, we stop adding new posts. Your account and the data already in it remain available to you.
Payments already made are not refundable, including for part of a month or for allowance you have not used. This does not affect any rights you have under the law. If you think we charged you by mistake, email support@attention8.com within 30 days of the charge and we will put it right.
6. Price changes
We may change our prices. We will email workspace admins at least 30 days before a new price applies to an existing subscription. The change takes effect from your next renewal after that notice, and you can cancel before then if you do not want to continue.
7. Other services
Subscriptions cover the Attention8 software. Creator fees, campaign production, Meme Boost and clipping orders, and competition prizes are separate. They are quoted, invoiced and paid per order on the terms shown with that order. Attention8 helps you record and track creator invoices, but unless we agree otherwise in writing, paying your creators is your responsibility.
8. Using Attention8 properly
You agree not to:
- use Attention8 for anything unlawful, or to harass, mislead or harm anyone;
- add content you do not have the right to use, or break the rules of the social platforms you track;
- try to get around your post allowance, access limits or security, or access other customers' data;
- copy, resell, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or overload it on purpose;
- share your account with people outside your business, other than teammates you invite.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules or is not paid for. Where possible we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.
9. Social platforms and data accuracy
Attention8 collects publicly available information from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook. Those platforms control that information and can change or restrict it at any time. We work hard to keep metrics accurate and up to date, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is complete, correct or available at all times. Check anything important, such as a payment to a creator, before you rely on it.
10. Your data and ours
You own the information you put into Attention8. You give us permission to store and process it only to run the service for you. Our privacy and cookies page explains how we handle personal data.
We own the Attention8 software, design and brand. Using the service does not give you any rights in them beyond using Attention8 as these terms allow.
11. Availability
We aim to keep Attention8 running smoothly, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve, change or remove features. If we remove something central to a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
12. Liability
Attention8 is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or any indirect loss. Our total liability to you for anything related to Attention8 is limited to the amount you paid us for subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will email workspace admins at least 30 days before it applies. Continuing to use Attention8 after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not, you can cancel before they apply.
14. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Gibraltar, and the courts of Gibraltar have jurisdiction over any dispute. Before going to court, please contact us so we can try to resolve it together.
